From Memphis Tennessee, Paisley graduated from L’Ecole Culinaire and began her career in Culinary Arts at the age of nineteen. Paisley worked with several Memphis chefs until she made the move to Los Angeles, California. Paisley started her career as a Pastry Chef inspired by her time as Savory Chef de Partie at Bouchon in Beverly Hills by Thomas Keller. Beyond LA, Paisley set forth into more adventurous waters by moving to Dubai, UAE and flew the friendly skies for Emirates Airlines. Once she returned stateside, she decided to dive deep into the Pastry Arts and became Executive Pastry Chef in the heart of Downtown Chicago at three established restaurant groups. Paisley returned to her hometown in the South and assisted in opening two restaurants in Collierville, Tennessee as Executive Pastry Chef and Menu Designer. Chef Paisley during this time, also taught Culinary Arts at a Private College in Memphis and in the Fall of 2019 moved to Phoenix, Arizona. In 2020, when Covid-19 erupted— Paisley was the Leading Chef at Banner in Phoenix. She then decided to take a hiatus from working kitchens to combine her love for food with lifestyle in the Phoenix Valley and thus The Puff Confectionery was born. She now simultaneously runs her bakery as well as her luxury food service, D'Jour & Co.
